Every so often my clients will inform me about some of the various business organizations and groups to which they belong to throughout the Delaware Valley. Most recently, Andy Meehan, with Development Solutions Global, a client of mine at Exton American Executive Centers, told me about a discussion group he founded several months ago for business professionals, which I believe many of our clients at American Executive Centers would also be interested to know about.
Andy Meehan --
Knowing that so many of my neighbors at American Executive Centers are business owners, entrepreneurs or managers, I want to introduce you, along with other business professionals in the Delaware Valley, to a group I started a few months ago called, Business Books Discussions of Philadelphia.
Business Books Discussions of Philadelphia offers a terrific forum to read and discuss topical business books for extracting ideas to enhance one's professional life.
Business Books Discussions of Philadelphia meets once per month on the Main Line - convenient for Radnor, Bala Cynwyd, Plymouth Meeting, King of Prussia and Exton American Executive Centers' clients interested in attending. We have a following of approximately 40 professionals, so it's a great networking venue too! Membership and attendance is completely FREE!
The next meeting is scheduled for September 7th at Panera Bread in Wayne (located off of Lancaster Avenue in the same Plaza as Whole Foods and 5 Guys). For directions visit: http://www.panerabread.com/cafes/find.php
This month we are discussing Outliers: The Story of Success, by Malcom Gladwell. It's available at most bookstores or on Amazon.com. To read a review visit: http://www.amazon.com/Outliers-Story-Success-Malcolm-Gladwell/dp/0316017922/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282582943&sr=1-1
