The 33rd annual Penn Medicine at Radnor Run event is quickly approaching!
We encourage you to sign up TODAY and mark this fun event for a great cause on your calendar for Sunday, October 31st, 2010. Funds raised go directly to the American Lung Association (ALA) to help fight lung disease. More than 33 million Americans struggle to breath because of disease...and everyone is affected in some way.
Whether you choose to participate in the 5-mile certified run sanctioned by USA Track and Field, or the untimed 1-mile walk/fun run, you are sure to have an enjoyable time! The event will start at 8:30 a.m. at the Radnor Township Municipal Building. All participants are asked to park at Penn Medicine at Radnor, 250 King of Prussia Rd, as there will be no parking at the start/finish area. Shuttle rides to the race location will run from 6:30 a.m. until 8: 00 a.m.
An active sponsor since 2006, we are excited to be part of such a great cause and are grateful to all of our staff, clients, vendors, family and friends who come out each year to rally with us. As a Route Marker sponsor this year, we will be contributing five "Coolers of Cheer" filled with healthy snacks and beverages that will be presented to top performers for the run.
There is a $25 registration fee for runners ($30 after 10/13/2010) and a $15 registration fee for the 1-mile walk/fun run. Participants can also register on race day. A registration booth will be set up at 7 a.m. To avoid delays on race day, there will be a Registration Party Friday, October 29th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Radnor Hotel, 591 East Lancaster Avenue. Race packets will be distributed while you enjoy a complimentary beverage and hors d'oeuvres.
